Superintendent's Welcome

We are very proud of District #145 and the education provided for all students. Our strong team of staff, parents and community members play a critical role in our “Commitment to Excellence.”

Residents throughout the district benefit from a small town atmosphere while being conveniently located near Lincoln and Omaha. District #145 covers approximately 300 square miles and serves over 1800 students housed in excellent facilities. Our K-12 District is comprised of a K-5 Elementary School in Eagle; in Waverly we have two elementary buildings (K-2 and 3-5), a 6-8 Middle School, a 9-12 High School and an Alternative Education program.

I am privileged to serve a district comprised of people who are passionate about education. Every action we take helps increase student engagement for learning. In our continually changing world, we strive to teach students how to learn, not what to learn. We use our K-12 curriculum and activities to teach students the skills they need to be successful in their lives. Students demonstrate many accomplishments that are a result of a strong curriculum, and a collaborative, dynamic group of people focused on the education of children.
