Pour Painting, what is THAT?

Recently, the 5th graders experimented with a style of art called "Pour Painting!" We watched a video on YouTube entitled "Tall Paintings." The artists in the video created 3-D artwork by pouring various colors over a large tower of wood and watching the paint flow down the tower and on to the floor.
We poured various paint over our poster board and then tilted the poster board in all different directions. This allowed the paint to mix and flow over the paper, creating an amazing marbled effect! We had a blast!
